I’m Josh. I’m overweight, in the worst shape of my life, and nearing fifty years old. So I am challenging myself. In two years can I be in the best shape of my life? Is setting such a tough goal a smart thing to do? Would you believe me if I said I understand the trap of setting deadlines to being healthy and I am moving forward anyway? Bring it on, fifty. Bring it on.

Post Thanksgiving Push Workout and Sauna

Wake up, workout, repeat. Even after a holiday. Today I got to the gym at 7am. I put my headphones on, turned on Pearl Jam and worked off the Thanksgiving Day gluttony. Recently, I switched up my workout from 5 days of isolated workouts to a Push, Pull system. I am working out Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. My routine is now Push, Pull, Legs and Core, Upper Body, Cardio with rest days on Tuesday and Thursday.

My new routine was ready to go. I was eager to not let Thanksgiving beat me. I pushed my body in the gym. Then I relaxed for twenty minutes in the sauna.

Now I’ll go home and start on the leftovers and repeat the cycle tomorrow. CARPE TURKEY!
