I’m Josh. I’m overweight, and I woke up one day in the worst shape of my life, and nearing fifty years old. So I challenged myself. In two years can I be in the best shape of my life? Is setting such a tough goal a smart thing to do? Would you believe me if I said I understand the trap of setting deadlines to being healthy and I am moving forward anyway? Bring it on, fifty. Bring it on.

A Gym Routine? Gasp!

This is my current workout plan. I am using the app Muscle Booster. (no, I am not getting paid to say this…unless they are offering) With the app I can enter my limitations, like my knee, and add all the equipment I may have to work with. I can set how many days I work out, what type of workout, how long, if there is a warm-up or cool down. So far I am loving it. I figure 4 days a week to start, to make sure I don’t hurt anything. Then work up from there. I would think 5 days would be the max I workout per week but the off days would still find me being active.

Today’s workout was Chest, Abs, and Lower back:
